A cylindrical work piece designed to straighten the abrasive stone sets if they receive uneven wear. The sleeve renews the cutting surface of the abrasive by opening the grains that are crushed or glazed during the honing application. Truing sleeves are easily ordered by preceding the mandrel number you are using with a 'T' (sample) T8-9 or T24-24.

Sometimes, a light stroke with our special truing stone will break the glaze on the abrasive stone set and restore the honing efficiency. These truing stones are available upon request. Just ask for P/N TS 3/4 X 3/4 X 4.
